Substance meets style in sleek city refurbishment
The courtyard of Tarrant Place in Marylebone exudes exclusivity – and over the course of this six-month project, we gave our client’s two-storey home an interior of equal elegance.
Working with a structural engineer and esteemed interior designer Bart Eyking, we stripped the property back to brick-level before putting in place solutions of both substance and style…
Initially formed of three separate rooms, the ground floor was entirely reconfigured and transformed into the contemporary, open-plan designer living space you see here.
Wood flooring and chic frameless doors provided sleek finishing touches to the stunning new space, while a new bespoke staircase led to the master bedroom, luxurious marble bathroom and a specially designed children’s room complete with built-in, handmade furniture.
Looks aren’t everything of course, and our structural works proved key to the project too. The loft was made structurally suitable for storage, dramatically improving the space on offer throughout the house, while we also insulated the home to offer both sound proofing and thermal qualities.
Underfloor heating and smart lighting systems added elegant energy solutions too, as this modest London pad transformed into a designer family home.
